About the Elanco Reunion Organization

In October 2003, a small group of past Elanco employees (presently living in Indianapolis) met to discuss a date to hold an Elanco Ag Chem Reunion for those individuals that spent a portion of their career working for Elanco Ag Chem prior to the formation of DowElanco. From the mid sixties through the eighties was a unique time in the agricultural chemical business and many wonderful memories were created by being a part of building the Ag Chem division of Eli Lilly and Company. The August 2004 reunion will provide the opportunity to renew many friendships; to thank past mentors, bosses, and peers; and to relive many humorous events.

Originally just a few people, the Indianapolis based organizing committee has grown to more than twenty individuals who have been involved or offered their assistance in planning the upcoming event. They are: Bill Bland, Mark Buroker, Ken Burow, Bill Campbell, Dave Carter, Tom Cleveland, Bill Culpepper, Gary Denhart, Jim Edwards, Dick Gilbert, Clint Guthrie, John Guthrie, George Kitchie, Dennis & Linda Lade, Ted McKinney, John Moody, Paul O'Daniel, Carol Prickett, Dave Smith, Rod Strickland, Bill Tolbert, Doug Vawter, Betty Lou Watkins, and Sharon Zimmerman.

In 2007, Elanco Animal Health joined the Elanco Reunion Organization to centralize membership communications and operations.

ElancoReunion.Org will operate as a non-profit group. Operational costs (postage, printing, banners, decorations, etc.) and expenses for reunion events (banquet, cookouts, etc.) will be covered by money collected for the events and a nominal registration fee. Any remaining dollars will be donated to a charitable cause such as Brook's Place (a grieving center of youth) named in honor of Brook Wright and established following Tom Wright's death. A financial summary will be listed on this web site prior to the end of 2004 reporting all revenue, expenses, and charitable donations.
