EAH Retiree Reunion - UPDATE

We now have 108 people confirmed to attend our Elanco 9th. Biennial Retiree Reunion next month here in Indianapolis.  The Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites will be our headquarters and is centrally located near the Monument Circle in Indianapolis.

I have been working with our Elanco Offices and they are organizing an excellent day for us on Friday, Sept. 24. The day will include tours of our NEW Global Headquarters, presentations on our various initiatives and a nice lunch.

Saturday activities include a morning presentation about the USS Indianapolis, or golf, or taking in the Purdue vs. Toledo Football game, or just relaxing at the hotel and visiting shops & museums in downtown Indianapolis. 

Most of you have already told me your interests for the Saturday activity. We still have openings in all areas. On Saturday evening there will be a reception and banquet with Elanco President, Jeff Simmons as our speaker. Everyone will depart on Sunday morning at your leisure. There will be a well stocked Hospitality Room open every day and evening for your social gathering and a great opportunity to share memories and make a few new ones.

2010 EAH Retiree Reunion - Sept. 23 - 26 in Indianapolis, IN

As of this date, 106 people have confirmed that they will be attending our 9th. Elanco Biennial Retiree Reunion in Indianapolis on Sept. 23-26, 2010.  The Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites at 120 W. Market St. will be our headquarters hotel.

PLANNED EVENTS

Thursday, Sept. 23rd
Arrive at your leisure and enjoy the Hospitality Room at the Hilton.
 
Friday Sept. 24th.
We will all be visiting our NEW Worldwide Elanco Headquarters in Greenfield, Indiana.  We are organizing small group tours, we will enjoy a nice lunch on the Patio, and then have brief presentations and Q&A session on the KEY areas of Elanco's business today: Companion Animals, World Hunger Projects, Ag. Leadership, Food Animal markets and the every popular "Pipeline" (R&D and Technical Support).
 
Then it will be back to our hotel to enjoy fellowship in our Hospitality Suite. There will be no planned dinners on Thursday (your arrival day) or Friday. This allows you to organize your own outtings and enjoy some of Indy's wonderful restaurants. 

Saturday Sept. 25th
This is our organized "Fun Day"... USS Indianapolis presentation, golf, the Purdue Football game or just relax, walk about downtown Indy and shop or take in one of the wonderful Museums (all in walking distance of our Hotel). We will have our Banquet on Saturday night and Elanco President Jeff Simmons will be our Speaker.

There are 35 attendees who have indicated their interest in the Historic Presentation about the USS Indianapolis. Carl & Donna Gahwiler will be your hosts for this Saturday activity. There are 8 of you wanting to play golf and Greg Starleaf has agreed to host (not pay for) the golfers on Saturday. And there are 15 of us (yours truly included) who will be attending the Purdue-Toledo Football game. Most of you have your tickets but for those who don't, I will make sure you have tickets and will be hosting the Purdue outing on Saturday.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS 
So far, only 12 sleeping rooms have been reserved/confirmed. I realize many of you are from the Indy. area and will not be staying at the Hotel.  But, if you have not made your Hotel reservation, PLEASE contact them this week...317-972-0600  or 1-800-682-7058.... tell them you are with the Elanco Retiree Reunion and reserve your room.

REUNION REGISTRATION
We are keeping the Fee the same for yet another Reunion ... $90 per person or $180 per couple. This Fee covers our Banquet (no alcohol as there will be a cash bar), Hospitality Room (snacks, beer, wine and soft drinks), Administrative costs, group transportation, maintenance of our Retiree website and any minimal incidentals required to run our reunion. If possible, I would like to have your registration fees by July 23rd.
